Outlining steps in the lead-up to the resumed fifth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA 5.2) 



The Chair(s) will invite for updates on specific next steps in preparation for the resumed session of the fifth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA 5.2) and the formal process leading up to it.



Item 5.
High-level dialogue 


High-level representatives will be invited to deliver statements on (national) position especially on (a) the desired outcome of the resumed fifth session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA 5.2) and (b) related to the Ministerial Statement.




Item 6.
Co-conveners’ summary 


The co-conveners of the Ministerial Conference will be invited to present their summary, lay out the signature process of the Ministerial Statement, explain the next steps and call for expression of support on the Ministerial Statement.



Item 7.
Update on relevant processes


Relevant processes to the Ministerial Conference will be discussed. This will include a presentation by relevant countries on potential draft resolutions under preparations for submission.
